We were proud to be the Community Empowerment Partner and a part of the India Impact Summit by Socio Story. We also thank the Guests of Honour, Dr. Abhay Jere the Chief Innovation Officer, Ministry of Education, and Yogeshwar Dutt, a bronze medalist in the 2012 Summer Olympics, as well as a Padma Shri Awardee for giving us the honor to receive an award from their hands. Due to the Covid, everyone got affected and one of the beneficiaries was Mumbai's Dabbawala, when Making The Difference got to know about Mumbai's Dabbawala they immediately started helping them, and Making The Difference served more than 10 Months to them with More than 40,000 Dry Ration Kits and 300 Nos. Cycle to start their Income, In the exchange of gesture, they presented us their pride Symbol.

Niti Aayog NGO Darpan

The NGO DARPAN is maintained by NITI Aayog w.e.f. 1st January 2015. NITI Aayog invites all Voluntary Organizations (VOs)/ Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) to Sign Up on the Portal.Vos/NGOs play a major role in the development of the nation by supplementing the efforts of the Government. This portal enables VOs/NGOs to enrol centrally and thus facilitates the creation of a repository of information about VOs/NGOs, Sector/State wise. The Portal facilitates VOs/NGOs to obtain a system generated Unique ID, as and when signed. The Unique ID is mandatory to apply for grants under various schemes of Ministries/Departments/Governments Bodies. The NGO-DARPAN is a platform that provides space for the interface between VOs/NGOs and key Government Ministries / Departments / Government Bodies, to start. Later it is proposed to cover all Central Ministries / Departments / Government Bodies. This is a free facility offered by the NITI Aayog in association with National Informatics Centre to bring about a greater partnership between the government & voluntary sector and foster better transparency, efficiency and accountability. The NGO-DARPAN started out as an initiative of the Prime Minister's Office, to create and promote a healthy partnership between VOs/NGOs and the Government of India. The Portal is managed at present by NITI Aayog.

Deepak Vishwakarma aims to brighten the lives of underprivileged children with Education, healthy meals, clean surroundings, Prioritizing women's health, a Sustainable Environment, and Livelihood. His passion for helping deprived children has brought him today to a renowned platform called Making The Difference Charitable Trust. Established in 2015, Making the Difference (MTD) is an Indian non-profit organization. Today, the NGO is working through the concept of WHEEL- the mission of raising menstrual awareness through Project Lajja, providing nutrition and healthcare to the disadvantaged by Kill Hunger, donating blood through BloodDoNation, Project GyanDaan which aims at fighting illiteracy through our Open Schools, and environment-related projects like Kinaara (beach-cleaning) and Shoonya (Waste Management). “I believe in solving the root cause of our social problems rather than fabricating the existing issues” - Says Deepak Vishwakarma: Founder & President.
