Project - KILL HUNGER
KILL HUNGER
"If you can't feed 100 people then feed just 1" wise quote by Mother Teresa.
KILL HUNGER is another program by Making the Difference NGO to eradicate hunger problems during any calamities, disasters, or mishaps. The program is truly based on hard work and contribution toward society. In the Global Hunger Index 2023, India ranked 111th out of 125 countries, indicating a serious level of hunger. On top of that More than 7000 Indians die per day in India due to hunger. It's a hard time one must start thinking about the eradication of this problem. Moreover, during natural calamities, there is a huge hike of hungry people. The recent Lucknow flood trapped 1300 people leaving them homeless and hungry, and another disaster in Mumbai - Kandivali left hundreds of people hungry for more than 2 nights.
Seeing such conditions should provoke a fire within the human to help India get over this big problem.
Well, Making The Difference NGO has already started making difference in the problems discussed above.
The project "KILL HUNGER" is the best example of how one can contribute towards killing hunger in society.
During the pandemic that is covid 19, MTD NGO was the earliest to provide needy people with ration kits that could last for a couple of months. The dry ration kits included various grains for nutrition and protein. Day-to-day utilities like pulses, flour, oil, and spices. The covid hit each sector of society very hard. That included the backward classes, old-age homes, orphanages, transgenders, sex workers, and also the common man. While everyone was busy helping the children and daily wage workers, the MTD NGO, was the earliest to distribute ration kits to the transgender community and sex workers.
In the recent Kandivali disaster and Chiplun flood, Lucknow flood, Varanasi flood. MTD NGO reached the fastest to help and successfully KILLED HUNGER of the people in need.
Another victory of the KILL HUNGER program was in ' Quarantine Defeat" where around 10,000-12,000 kits were distributed to all the quarantine patients. The times were so hard when no one was allowed to visit the wards and patients. During such times MTD NGO heroes risked their lives and helped as many people as possible.
