SHOONYA
श्रीराम के मैं धीर सा,
लंकापति के तीर सा,
आकाश के समान हूं,
प्राणों में विद्यमान हूं,
न रुका न कभी ठहरा हुआ,
शून्य सा हूं मैं बचा हुआ !
SHOONYA means ZERO or nothingness. The project SHOONYA by MTD NGO resembles the aim to have ZERO waste in India. A great idea is undoubtedly very difficult to execute but is executed on a successful level by team MTD NGO.
CEO and a dynamic young man Mr. Deepak Vishwakarma of Making The Difference NGO aims to build a nation that is a clean, hygienic, and a waste-free country. Sticking to their aim MTD NGO has launched project SHOONYA which is completely based on waste management and works on taking care of Mother Nature by segregation dry waste and wet waste from hills of garbage.
On estimated research, it is found that on yearly basis India generates about 62 million tonnes of waste. Ever wondered where does all of this waste go??
Some of the garbage gets sorted by the government, but because they don't handle it well, the rest ends up in big piles of trash. This trash starts to rot by itself, which makes bugs and bad smells. These bugs and smells can cause sickness and spread through the air. This dirty air, bugs, and germs can lead to diseases and make the environment unhealthy.
MTD NGO runs Project SHOONYA with the base of recycling, reusing, and re-generate. The team works hard day and night to collect waste from different part of the cities and then segregate it into dry waste and wet waste containers. All of this waste is then sent to the waste plant for further processing. But doing so requires humungous manpower. Mr. Deepak Vishwakarma and his team is enthusiastic about their aim to provide the country with the safe, clean, and hygienic surroundings.
Rightly said by Leo Tolstoy
“One of the first conditions of happiness is that the link between man and nature shall not be broken.”
Nature looks after us, and it's our responsibility to look after nature in return. Unfortunately, some people have only realized this the hard way. The recent rise in disasters, diseases, and other natural problems is a clear sign that we are harming the environment. It's widely believed that it's crucial to act now, or we may face serious consequences from nature's anger. Many people have not taken this seriously, but MTD NGO has been wholeheartedly working to protect the environment since 2015.
Seeing their work inspiring the citizens of the country we must hold their hands and help to save our mother nature.
HOW CAN WE HELP?
